Network Code Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management consultation opens - 28/03/2012
Network code Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management (CACM) consultation is now open, following a draft network code issued by ENTSOe on the 23rd March.
The network code set out pan-European rules for the design of Day Ahead and Intraday markets and common arrangements for defining bidding zones and calculating capacities between those zones. The consultation closes on the 23rd May 2012.
European Commission opens consultation on market coupling governance – 28/11/2011
On 28th November, the European Commission released a consultation concerned with the governance framework for European day-ahead market coupling.
The consultation puts forward four potential options for the governance framework, one proposes the continuation of the current voluntary approach and the other three involve creating different types of legally binding guidelines. The deadline for responses to this consultation is 29th February 2012
