Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs)
Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs) are certificates which demonstrate that electricity has been produced from renewable sources.
One REGO represents one kilowatt hour of electricity.

The primary purpose of REGOs is to allow suppliers to meet the Fuel Mix Disclosure condition in their supply licences. The Fuel Mix Disclosure requires electricity suppliers to demonstrate to customers the energy sources their electricity is generated from.
