This is something SmartestEnergy's in-house power and gas traders and Energy Management Centre are able to deliver by managing all the associated credit risks and trading on our customers' behalf with counter-parties such as brokers and screen-based exchanges. Other items such as imbalance prices would generally be passed through at cost, as would any transmission, distribution or other embedded benefits.

These routes to market enable participants to sell their power within a broad spread of time-frames, ranging from a few hours ahead to months, seasons or even years into the future.

FlexiTrade also provides large generators with an ability to buy as well as sell, in order to achieve a balanced position, trade profitably and match the profile of their generation or demand.
