As we close out another milestone year, SmartestEnergy US is proud to reflect on the progress, performance, and partnerships that shaped 2025. Here are seven standout achievements that defined our growth and strengthened our position in the US energy market.

1. Honored as TEPA’s 2025 Supplier of the Year

In 2025, we were honored to be named TEPA’s Supplier of the Year, one of the industry’s most respected recognitions. This award reflects our continued commitment to transparency, responsiveness, and building trusted, long-term partnerships within the broker community.

2. Ranked number one in Overall Satisfaction by Energy Research Consulting Group (ERCG)

We earned the top ranking in Overall Satisfaction in the 2024 ERCG ABC Study, achieving an average score of 4.07 out of 5. Our performance was further reinforced by Excellence Awards across all major categories, including #1 in Ease of Doing Business and top scores in End Customer Experience. These results demonstrate our ability to deliver consistent excellence across the full customer lifecycle.

We were also recognized as the #1 Most Partner-Centric supplier, with 40% of surveyed brokers and consultants naming us their top choice—more than any other supplier evaluated.

3. Sustained strong partner loyalty with a +66 NPS  

Our partner experience remains a core differentiator. With a +66 Net Promoter Score, we continue to outperform industry benchmarks, underscoring the strength of our relationship-driven service model and long-term partner loyalty.

4. Expanded into ERCOT with Retail, Wholesale and Trading Services

2025 marked a significant milestone with the launch of retail, wholesale, and trading services in ERCOT. This expansion positions us as a competitive supplier in one of the fastest growing and most dynamic electricity markets in the United States.

5. Secured a landmark renewable PPA with Avangrid 

We signed a long-term power purchase agreement for renewable energy from Avangrid’s New Hampshire wind projects. This agreement expands our clean energy portfolio and reinforces our commitment to supporting regional decarbonization efforts.

6. Completed ISO-NE coverage with expansion into New Hampshire

In 2025, we expanded our services into New Hampshire, completing our coverage across the entire ISO-NE region. This milestone strengthens our presence throughout the Northeast and supports our broader U.S. growth strategy by enabling more consistent, region-wide solutions for our partners and customers.

In 2025, the SmartestEnergy Group marked 25 years in business.
