Our US business launches with an expert team

Today we announce the official launch of SmartestEnergy in the United States. This is SmartestEnergy’s first overseas expansion, and complements the UK’s existing retail activities, by similarly offering businesses customised energy supply products and stand-out customer service. With an asset light approach, SmartestEnergy’s US operations will remain agile and customer focused.
Our US business aims to build on the achievements of our existing UK company, SmartestEnergy Limited, which was established in 2001 and has gone on to become a next generation energy company, supporting businesses in achieving their energy strategy objectives and championing the role of independent renewable generators.
In the US, we will offer a diverse product range and payment structure that is tailored to meet our customers' needs. As a next generation energy company, our vision operating in this new market, is to become a leading technology-enabled energy partner that stands out for its customer first approach and leading-edge products.
Where are we operating?
Our US office is located in Syracuse, in New York. Although, we will be serving customers and consultants spanning the wider north-eastern region.

Our US business has the full backing of SmartestEnergy Limited in the UK, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Marubeni Corporation of Japan. With this global energy expertise and financial backing, the US business is fully supported as it develops and grows.
